Anonymous counts and the free check
Wisenum counts how many times key steps happen (for example a line analysed or a checkout opened) as daily totals per game, language and step type, and as separate totals per country. No cookie, identifier, number, address or account is linked to these counts. A visitor without an account can get one free complete check per game: a random identifier kept in a cookie (only its hash is stored) remembers which line was checked, so the free check is not repeated, and addresses are counted in memory for the day only to limit abuse. The country of your address (given by our network provider) and your browser's languages pick the language, game, edition and currency shown first; apart from the anonymous total per country, they serve that page only and are not stored. Your choices of language, game and edition are remembered in this browser by preference cookies. If you buy Next Draw without an account, a second cookie holds a random secret that opens your purchase in this browser; the email you give Stripe is stored with the purchase so you can recover it.
What this installation stores
Account features use your email, a generated display name, authentication records, saved lines and your public-sharing preference. Your unfinished line is also stored in your browser so you can return to it. Authentication uses essential session cookies. This version includes no advertising or analytics trackers.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, Wisenum receives your email address and your message. They are sent to the publisher by email, used only to answer you, and are not stored in the Wisenum database.
Public sharing is optional
Sharing is off by default. You can change your display name and future public-sharing preference in Account & privacy. Your email is not used as your public name.
Your controls
You can delete saved lines and delete your account from the account page. Account deletion removes associated app and authentication records from the active database. Infrastructure backups may retain older records until their configured retention period expires.
Who is responsible
Wisenum decides how your data is used. Contact: contact@wisenum.com.
Service providers
Wisenum runs on Railway (hosting and database). Emails, including sign-in codes, are sent through Resend. Payments are handled by Stripe; during the beta Stripe runs in test mode and no real card data is used. Google receives your sign-in request only if you choose Google sign-in. Some of these providers process data in the United States under the transfer safeguards in their data-processing terms.
How long data is kept
Account data (email, saved lines, analyses, settings) is kept while your account is open and deleted when you delete it; you can download it from your account at any time. Analyses made without an account are kept for 13 months, unless Next Draw was bought for them. Abandoned checkouts are deleted after 30 days; Next Draw purchase records are kept for accounting and refunds. Daily allowance counters are kept 30 days, sign-in codes are deleted the day after they expire, and anonymous daily counts are kept 13 months. If you join the waitlist while sign-up is limited to invited people, your email is kept until you are invited, or for at most 12 months. Invoices are kept by Stripe as the law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to its use, by writing to contact@wisenum.com. You can also complain to the CNIL, the French data-protection authority (cnil.fr).
