About Wisenum

What Wisenum is

Wisenum is an independent tool for lottery players. You enter the numbers you play; it shows how popular a line like yours is estimated to be with other players, how it would have fared in past draws, and lines that keep your favorite numbers while fewer people are estimated to share them.

Why it exists

Every valid line has the same chance of being drawn, and nobody can change that. What a player's choice does change is how many other people hold the same kind of line, and so how a prize would be shared. Official results publish how many players won at each prize level after every draw; Wisenum reads those counts to estimate which patterns are played most, and says plainly what it cannot know.

Who is behind it

Wisenum is a personal project in a public beta, based in Paris, France. Paid services are provided by WISENUM, Paris, France. It is not affiliated with any lottery operator.

How Wisenum earns money

From its own paid plans: Next Draw (one payment for one draw), Premium and the Pool plans. Wisenum sells no lottery tickets, takes no commission on tickets and is not paid by any lottery operator. Checking a line and its closest less-shared version stays free.

Where the data comes from

Official result pages and New York Open Data for Powerball, megamillions.com for Mega Millions, the FDJ archive for EuroMillions and LOTTO.de for EuroJackpot. Each game's methodology page explains how the estimate is built and tested.
